I was the kid parents invited over because I managed to make a game out of organizing the closets and under-beds of my peers. Whether designing a functional basement layout or running a multi-city grant program, I’ve spent the last four decades cultivating my innate sense of process and organization.
With over a decade in non-profit I’ve had the unique opportunity to do a little bit of everything. I proudly represented my hometown Chicago on the world stage managing international relations for the 2016 Summer Olympic Bid campaign. I then joined non-profit start-up Bright Pink where I had the privilege of supporting young women on their journeys toward early detection and prevention of breast and ovarian cancer. From marketing, event management, grant writing and fundraising, my adoration for non-profit space was solidified. In 2013 I relocated to Washington, DC to join national non-profit KABOOM!, working to achieve playspace equity. There, I collaborated with Fortune 500 companies and prominent foundations to build diverse play infrastructure around the country. In 2021 I began independent consulting and love the opportunities it provides me in bringing passion and enthusiastic support to diverse projects and organizations.
I earned a B.A. from Bates College, and an M.A. from Middlebury College in Applied French. I also completed the FIFA Master program in International Sports Management. An aspiring gardener and accomplished long distance runner, I’ve lived in England, Italy, Switzerland and France, but now call Portland, OR home along with my partner and kiddo.
